Welcome to Profeet

Profeet is a footwear and insole specialist with a worldwide reputation. Our customers come back time and time again, even from other continents! We combine sports laboratory analysis technology with sports footwear and custom orthotic insoles. The result not only increases comfort but can also improve balance and biomechanical alignment. Profeet was founded in 2001 by Hamish Wolfenden (MSc Biomechanics, Gdip Biomedical Engineering, BSc Quantum Physics), initially to bring the benefits of bio-mechanical analysis and specialist fitting to skiers and runners. Since 2001, Profeet has helped thousands of ordinary people achieve extraordinary things.

Our staff:

Our footwear staff are active in sport and most have graduated from top universities in the fields of biomechanics, podiatry and sports rehabilitation.

Our ski staff are professional ski boot fitters. Many are ski instructors and have a wealth of experience fitting ski boots in store and in resorts. We all share a common passion for snow sports.

His recent research has focused on the importance of comfort as a biomechanical factor in running footwear and the role of sports footwear in the reduction of injury. He is currently involved in the development of research projects on postural sway and running footwear, and relationship between foot pressure patterns and specific injury.
