Help for Heroes supports a variety of initiatives including "Battle Back", an offshoot of the charity that employs Adaptive Adventure Training and Sports Rehabilitation to help seriously wounded Service personnel gain confidence and return to an active life. This year's event saw a number of recuperating servicemen participating in the Championships for the first time, made possible by a range of generous sponsors. The auction, held in aid of Help for Heroes and led by Rufus Hound at this year's prize giving dinner, raised over £22,000.
